In The studio right now! Lucy is recording the vocals on her song "Famous". This is super exciting! Its going to be a lot of fun to experiment with our sound and try different and new things.
This past saturday we played at HappyHoller Palooza. It was super fun and lots people came. Hopefully we can play at it again next year, its a great event!
As some of you may know our article was published this past friday. If you go to the Knoxville News Sentinal's Websites and search The Pinklets it will pop up. We had a lot of fun doing it and we can't wait for you guys to read it. (:
Yesterday was a very important day for us. We started recording our first album!!! We have almost finished recording the first song, we started with Famous! Even after recording just one song we have already learned a lot about the whole process. We can't wait for it to be finished and we hope you will all buy it. Stay tuned!
We are always open to new gig suggestions and ideas. So if you now of any venues, parties, etc. we'd LOVE to hear about them. Also if you have any pictures or videos from one of our shows that you would like to share with us that would be great! You can contact us through this website or through our Instagram. Thanks!🎎
We have recently had some birthdays in the band! Willa and Lucy have turned thirteen, and Eliza is now eleven! We can't wait to play for you guys at our upcoming events, such as: Happy Holler Palooza, and The Mead Montessori Fall Festival. We will hopefully have more information about these gigs soon. We hope you'll put it on your calendars to come see us play!
We are excited to say that a few weeks ago we had our first practice in our new studio. It is much bigger with very good acoustics. We can't wait to show you guys some new songs we've been working up!
Our last gig two saturdays ago was a private event for the girls rock Camp. It was a challenge considering Roxie was unable to play with us, but we survived! Thankfully the top four strings on the guitar are the same as the bass strings!
We loved sharing our songs with the campers and councilors, and enjoyed the Q and A session at the end. WBIR also came and interviewed at the end which was a lot of fun.
Thanks everybody for supporting us! Don't forget to follow us in instagram @thepinklets.
